Travel

Travel Program Overview

Revolution’s Travel Program is designed for players who aim to make their school teams and pursue volleyball beyond high school, while treating volleyball as a primary athletic focus. The program welcomes multi-sport athletes who are ready to take on the challenge of elite-level training and a higher-commitment competitive schedule.

Known for high-level training and strong competition opportunities, the Travel Program gives athletes the chance to compete in both local and national events while building the habits, skills, and discipline needed to succeed at the next level. Travel athletes are committed to mastering their game, earning school-team opportunities, and pursuing the highest levels of success available to them.

2026-2027 Season Details

• Age Groups: 13U-18U

• Season Length: Mid October through June; high school athletes join after their school season concludes.

• Practice Days: 2-3 practices per week, including two weekday sessions and a Saturday session during the fall and winter, plus positional training.

• Practice Length: Typically 2 hours per practice.

• Recommended Additional Training: 1 hour of strength and conditioning training in addition to team practice.

• Practice Hours: 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (age-dependent).

• Training Volume: 100+ hours of training across the season.

• Practice Locations: The Berto Center, Trinity, and Donato Foundation Sports Center.

• Season Breaks: Thanksgiving Break (1 week), Winter Break (2 weeks), Spring Break (1 week).

• Coaching Model: Each team is staffed with two coaches, including a head coach and an assistant coach.

• Price: $4,200 all-in; payment options available. Price includes everything needed for competition except family/player travel expenses such as hotel, airfare, and similar trip-related costs.


Competition Format

Travel teams compete in a demanding schedule built for athletes seeking meaningful exposure and higher-level match experience. This level includes participation in at least five multi-day overnight tournaments, along with a mix of local and national events throughout the season.

• 13U-16U: 18+ competition dates total.

• 17U-18U: 15+ competition dates total.

• Local Events: Events within a two-hour drive, including some out-of-state events such as Milwaukee, Rockford, and Northwest Indiana.

• National / Travel Events: Overnight events with a dedicated Revolution hotel block, plus additional logistics and communication for each trip.

• Common Travel Destinations: St. Louis, Indianapolis, Louisville, Sandusky, Wisconsin Dells, and Orlando.

Regional Program Overview

Revolution’s Regional Program is dedicated to helping athletes develop the fundamental skills of volleyball while improving sport-specific strength and game knowledge. This program is ideal for athletes who are committed to improving their volleyball skills while still balancing other sports, school, and extracurricular activities.

Regional offers comprehensive training within a schedule that fits more seamlessly into a busy family calendar. Athletes receive strong technical coaching, team training, and competitive match experience while continuing to grow both on and off the court.

• Age Groups: 10U-18U

• Season Length: Mid October through March; high school athletes join after their school season concludes.

• Practice Length: Typically 2 hours per practice.

• Recommended Additional Training: 30 minutes of strength and conditioning training in addition to team practice.

• Practice Hours: 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (age-dependent).

• Training Volume: 90+ hours of training across the season.

• Practice Locations: The Berto Center, Trinity College / Donato Foundation Sports Complex, Willow Hill Sports Dome, and various schools within 10 minutes of the Berto Center.

• Season Breaks: Thanksgiving Break (1 week), Winter Break (2 weeks), Spring Break (1 week).

• Coaching Model: Each Regional team is staffed with one head coach, with an additional floater coach supporting training across every 2-3 teams.

• 12U and Under: $2,600 (All in)

• 13U and Up: $2,900 (All in)

• Included: Price is inclusive of everything needed for competition except family/player travel expenses such as hotel, airfare, and related trip costs.

Competition Format

Regional teams compete in a schedule designed to provide strong developmental reps and meaningful competition without the full volume of the Travel level. Teams compete primarily in local events, with some travel events depending on age group and team schedule.

• 10U-12U: 8+ competition dates total.

• 13U-17U: 10+ competition dates total.

• 18U: 10+ competition dates total.

• Local Events: Events within a two-hour drive, including some out-of-state events such as Milwaukee, Rockford, and Northwest Indiana.

• Travel Events: Select events may include overnight travel and will have a dedicated Revolution hotel block with additional instructions and logistics for each location.

• Common Travel Destinations From Past Seasons: Louisville, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, and Wisconsin Dells.

Local

Local Program Overview

Revolution’s Local Program is built for athletes who want strong volleyball development in a lower-commitment club setting. It is a great fit for players who want to improve fundamental skills, build confidence, and gain team competition experience while still balancing other sports, school, and family schedules.

The Local Program gives athletes consistent coaching, meaningful reps, and a positive team environment without the added travel demands of Regional or Travel. Families can expect a developmental season focused on skill growth, game understanding, and enjoying the sport in a manageable format.

2026-2027 Season Details

• Age Groups: Local program age groups as assigned by Revolution.

• Season Length: November through March.

• Practice Days: 1-2 practices per week.

• Practice Length: 90 minutes per practice.

• Practice Hours: Age-dependent evening practice times.

• Competition Volume: 6+ competition dates.

• Competition Type: Local tournaments only; no travel tournaments or overnight events.

• Price: $1,800 all in

• Payment Options: Available.

• Included: Price is inclusive of everything needed for competition except normal family transportation to local events, shoes and knee pads.

Competition Format

Local teams compete only in local tournaments and are designed for families looking for a simpler club season with no overnight travel. Events are selected to provide competition experience while keeping the schedule manageable and development-focused.

• Tournament Schedule: 6+ competition dates total.

• Travel Requirement: None beyond normal local commuting.

• Overnight Events: None.

• Best Fit: Athletes looking for club coaching and competition without the broader commitment of Regional or Travel.

Spring Seasons Program

Spring Seasons Program (Mid April – Early June)

The Spring Seasons Program is built for multi-sport athletes who want real volleyball development without giving up their other commitments. Players train and compete in a true team environment, building volleyball-specific skills, strength, and game IQ while keeping a balanced schedule.

Who it’s for:

  • Athletes new or newer to volleyball who are ready to take a committed step forward.
  • Players balancing school, other sports, and activities who still want structured training and competition.

What’s included:

Season Length: 8 weeks (Mid April through Early June)

Ages: 10U–15U

Training Schedule: 1–2 practices per week, 90 minutes each

Total Gym Time: 20+ hours of on-court training per session

Practice Days: Weekday evenings

Locations: Deerfield, Northbrook, Bannockburn, Highland Park

Competition: 2–3 tournament dates

Coaching model:

Each team has a dedicated Head Coach.

An additional “floater” coach supports training across 2–3 teams to keep reps high and feedback constant.

Investment:

$880 (payment plans available)

Fee includes all training, uniforms, and competition entry fees.

Families are responsible only for their own travel to events.
